Unable to update your book list

VitalSource Bookshelf was unable to update your book list. Unable to load DLL 'coredll': The specified module could not be found.


This error occurs when Bookshelf is updating its book list.

  1. Uninstall VitalSource Bookshelf from the Add/Remove programs;
  2. Restart the computer;
  3. Reinstall VitalSource Bookshelf;
  4. After installation is complete, restart the computer a second time BEFORE opening bookshelf.

If the issue persists, please submit a request for assistance via the IATA Customer Portal. Provide the following information:


  • Name of the publication;
  • Platform used:
    • Bookshelf Online (Specify browser)
      or
    • Bookshelf app (Specify Operating System)
  • A brief description of the issue, including any relevant error message.
